Biography
Dr. Yuksel was born in Istanbul. He graduated from Medical Faculty of Istanbul University in 2008. He started residency training in Istanbul Bagcilar Training and Research Hospital between 2009-2014.
During his residency he performed lots of orthopaedic and traumatology surgeries with wide variety. During this period, he also worked abroad for 3 months at Duke University, USA and also Endo Clinic in Germany as observer.
He became a fellow of Turkish Orthopedics and Traumatology Board in 2015. He then passed the European Orthopedics and Traumatology Board (EBOT) exam in October 2016 which was held in Lisbon, Portugal and became a fellow of EBOT since then.
He was awarded the title of Associate Professor on October 18, 2019.
Ass. Professor Serdar has performed more than 4000 orthopaedic surgeries since 2009.
