Biography
Güngör Gül, MD is an expert general surgeon in the field of obesity surgery, was born in Germany in 1973.
After completing primary school, he completed his secondary and high school education at Kadıköy Anatolian High School. (1991)
He graduated from Marmara University Faculty of Medicine in 1998. (Istanbul)
He completed his specialty training at Göztepe Training and Research Hospital in 2005 and received the title of General Surgery Specialist. (Istanbul)
Since then, he has worked in different private hospitals and currently continues his services in private practice.
In addition to the routine practice of General Surgery, he is focused in laparoscopic surgery and especially obesity surgery (sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass, gastric botox and gastric balloon).
He is a member of many national and international surgical associations.
He fluently speaks English and Spanish.
